Preventing or protecting oral cavity against plaque re-growth and biofilm formation
Protecting hard tissue surfaces (enamel and dentin) from endogenous and exogenous insults
Where human safety has been confirmed or material(s) are food approved ingredients or GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe). US monographed ingredients if classified as an OTC in the United States or equivalent from other Board of Health.
That have clinical studies, FDA approval under the appropriate class, or an expedited path to FDA approval or global regulatory opportunities
That are effective at causing clinically significant reductions in plaque and gingivitis
That demonstrate sustained and measurable antimicrobial activity against pathogens involved of gingivitis and periodontitis
